"Letting Go"

It's been said many times before, but it's become a common cliche. When you are truly ready to let go of the excuses & the baggage that keeps you from moving forward in life, if will be a reality for you! Truly letting go means to Move On & never go back to those old ways of doing things. I desire to encourage you along the way in this walk. The body of Christ needs that push. With every opportunity by God's grace, I'm here to encourage you to press towards the mark of the higher calling in Christ Jesus!

You may be feeling guilt & condemnation. That's not of God. Godly sorrow leads to repentance, but feeling like you can't be forgiven for something you've done wrong is not from God - John 3:17. Don't condemn yourself into thinking that your mistakes are so bad that God isn't willing to forgive you! He longs for you to release the pain and guilt over to Him... & everything that you keep trying to make work on your own. Only "HE" can repair what's broken. Only "HE" can fill what's missing in your life. You may feel empty inside, the need for real love & for someone to wrap their arms around you & tell you that "you are loved & cherished" --- Here, I am wrapping my arms around you in the spirit with the love of Christ. I'm always in desperate need of God's hugs! He's wrapping His arms around you with love & forgiveness. He loves you, dearly. Think about it like this, if we were to get to a place in our life when we have received all that we need from God, would we need Him for anything else? No, right? That is why we are in constant need of Him. We are to remain in a constant desire for His presence. Because He created us for Himself, He desires for us to develop a close relationship with Him.

The common say would be to never give up. That can't be applied to everything. Some things & people we may have to give up on. Like that little boyfriend that you may be holding onto thinking God will save Him by your faith & yall get married & live happily ever after. Or that girl that all your homeboys say she's a keeper but you know deep down in your heart you shouldn't. When God is tugging at your heart to make a decision, you better believe it's to elevate you from pleasing your fleshly desires to obeying and walking after the things of the Spirit. Give it up, His ways are better than your ways. God has a perfect plan for your life. Let go, be patient & trust HIM -- He makes promises that He actually keeps! "Trusting God includes trusting His timing."

Who said that letting go would be easy? -- It's not. That's why we have to be determined. The problem is that our flesh rules us but the Spirit is willing to overrule the flesh in thrust us into a future that we not only dream of, but is actually a reality. Life without regrets truly exists on the other side of "repeating mistakes". When we truly learn to let go of the thing that we think is all we have, we step out on faith trusting that God will come through with something BETTER. "God is truly for us!" Romans 8:31 ---When we get that through our thick heads, then we can truly relinquish the feeling of having to control it all.

I'll pray tonight before I go to bed that "Letting Go" isn't the task at all, but that making efforts to move on & trusting God's best for you is in matters of being led by His Spirit. Seek Him 1st in all you do, Acknowledge Him as GOD! ... & everything will fall in place.
